Introduction
The SSPUM 2006 is an intensive, 11-day full-time course. It requires the total dedication of participants as well as their maximum intellectual commitment. The programme stimulates an engaging and rewarding learning process aimed at developing professional knowledge, skills and attitudes. Therefore, the teaching involves a blend of lectures and practical classes, together with groupwork and seminars — also with guest lectures—with an emphasis on discussion and problem-solving. These methods provide students with opportunities for active and critical participation, maintaining a high level of attention and involvement.

* Length of the School: 11 days, 60 hours of classroom activities plus 36 hours of workgroup activities.
* Language: English.

* Forlì (Emilia-Romagna) – Forlì Campus, Aule Master (Forlì town centre) Accommodation: in hotel Forlì town centre, 200 m. from the University.

Requirements
In view of its contents, the SSPUM 2006 would be relevant to graduate students and PhD students preferably with a background in Management and Organisation, as well as professionals interested in public management, such as managers, analysts, consultants in government institutions, agencies and other organisations closely associated with the public sector (e.g. public utility companies).

The selected participants will be reached by email within May 22th, 2006, and they will have to pay the registration fee (by transferring the due fee to the account that will be indicated).

Admission and fee
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their curriculum vitae and letter of presentation.

The admission fee is 800,00 €.
For the italian public sector organizations' employees the fee is 2.000 €.

The admission fee is comprehensive of accommodation (hotel room, breakfast and lunch) course package, secretarial staff and welcoming refreshments.

Studentships and Credits
Scholarships are available for foreign students, on the basis of their CVs.
