Fuksas – A Lifetime at Rome Film Fest 2026: screenings and tickets

Share

Fuksas – A Lifetime, Elisa Fuksas’s new documentary about architect Massimiliano Fuksas, is part of the Special Screenings programme at Rome Film Fest 2026. Public screenings take place at MAXXI on 15 October and Cinema Giulio Cesare on 21 October.

Why it may be worth adding to a Rome stay

The film moves between architecture, painting, family memories and the encounters that shaped Massimiliano Fuksas’s career. It is also an intimate father-and-daughter portrait: director Elisa Fuksas uses the filmmaking process to explore a relationship built from the present, archive material and memories that do not always agree.

Doriana Mandrelli and Lavinia Fuksas also appear in the documentary. The cinematography is by Emanuele Zarlenga, Michele D’Attanasio and Leonardo Mirabilia, the editing by Natalie Cristiani and the music by Iosonouncane.
